60 or so events this weekend. Friday is First Friday, so the galleries open up downtown: a national juried ceramics show at the Academy, a portrait show reception at the Art Club and ghost portraits at the library. Saturday leans outdoors, with Day at the Point out at Point of Honor, a family fall fest in Forest and a shrimpfest at the Boonsboro Ruritan Club, then a Hispanic Heritage celebration at the Warehouse Theatre and a heavy bill of five bands at Super Rad that night. The Prince of Egypt finishes its run at the Historic Academy Theatre with a Sunday matinee. If I'm missing something, or you've got an event you're hosting or want to share, let me know.
Times and details can change after this is sent. For the latest, view this post on the web (the "view in browser" link up top). I post corrections there.
